Watch Party

Give people a reason to stay for the fourth quarter.

Your customers call what happens next on their phones. The leaderboard goes up on your TV. You pour drinks.

We will get back to you and set your place up. Nothing to install, no card needed.

What a night looks like

1

Pick tonight’s game

Open the dashboard on your phone and choose from the games we have questions written for. Takes about ten seconds.

2

Turn it on

One switch. Your TV shows the leaderboard and a four-letter code, and people start joining.

3

Let it run

We call the results as the game goes. Scores move on your TV on their own. Nobody behind the bar has to touch anything.

4

Hand over the prize

Whoever is top of the board at the end wins whatever you put up. A gift card, a round, a t-shirt — your call.

Who does what

We handle

  • Writing the questions for every game
  • Calling the results as they happen
  • Keeping score and running the board
  • The bit on your TV

You handle

  • Turning it on
  • Putting the prize behind the bar
  • Telling people it is happening

Setting up the first time

Four steps, and you only do three of them once.

1

Get your sign-in link

Tell us about your place and we set you up, then send you a link. Tap it and you are in — no password to write on a sticky note behind the till.

2

Tell us about your place

Name, town, and an email we can reach you on. Two minutes, once.

3

Connect your TV

Open our page on the TV — any smart TV browser, a laptop plugged into the HDMI, a Fire Stick, whatever you already use. A four-letter code appears on screen. Type that code into your phone and the TV is yours. You only do this once.

4

Run your first night

Pick a game, print the little sign with the QR code, put a few on the tables, and turn it on.

Straight answers

Do people need to download anything?

No. They scan the code on the table or type it into their phone browser. That is the whole thing.

What do I need to have?

A screen that can open a web page, wifi your customers can use, and something to give the winner.

How much of my staff’s time is this?

About a minute at the start of the game and a minute at the end. Nothing in between.

What if nobody plays?

Then you have lost a minute. Most places find it takes one night of people seeing their name on the TV.

Try it on one game night

If the room does not pick it up, you have lost a minute of your evening. If it does, you have a reason for people to come back next week.
